Hina Khan, After debuting in cinema with the film “Lines”, which was screened in Cannes earlier this year, is all set for her next film, which is an Indo-Hollywood film, Which is based on the book ‘The Country of the Blind’ By H.G. Wells. Hina will essay the role of a blind girl.
Talking about her film choices to an entertainment website, she says, “Most girls, who want to become film actresses, seek roles in commercial films. But not every actress can always wait to play a role opposite a Bollywood actor. Also, I think it is necessary to be a part of a film that has scope for your performance. That’s why I started with ‘Lines’, and now, I’m doing ‘The Country of the Blind’. “
To prepare for her role, Hina attended a blind school workshop which, she says, was a great learning experience. “Eyes are our window to the world, but I also think that when God snatches something, he blesses you with many other things. These individuals are capable of achieving much more than others, Hina further added.
On the small screen, Hina was last seen playing the role of Komolika in ‘Kasauti Zindagi 2’. A few months ago, she took a break from the show to focus on her film commitments. So will she be back on the show anytime soon? Hina replies, “Currently, I’m busy with my film projects and I don’t think I’ll be part of the show anytime soon. But, you never know what the future holds for you.”
