Last night there was a fire on the sets of Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan’s ‘Coolie No.1′. The team is currently working on a Filmistan set based in Goregaon, Mumbai. Fortunately, the fire was overcome in time and there were no casualties.
According to an entertainment portal, around 12:30 pm, the film set caught fire and only 15 workers were on-site during the accident. The fire brigade and nearby people were immediately informed by the police as soon as they came to know about the fire chapter. However, the exact cause of the incident is still not known and is considered a short circuit connection and some damage has been caused by rain.
Coming back to the film, ‘Coolie No.1’ had actors Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles, while the original film had Govinda and Karisma Kapoor. The film is starring by David Dhawan and original producer Vashu Bhagnani.
The film’s unit debuted its first schedule in Bangkok last month and has now moved to Mumbai to complete the remainder of the film.
