Hiten Tejwani’s Response

Hiten replied to the host, saying, “I believe stories are what are connecting, which they want to watch. Like kind of mature love stories.” Referring to Pakistani audiences watching their own dramas, he said, “I am sure that those people are only watching that, and when they watch this (Hindi shows), they must be feeling like yaar this is very good. This is masala, drama and is good.”

He further added about Pakistani dramas, “You know we relate to it, because those people have very mature stories, and they show it in a very simple way like, what they are trying to convey they convey it simply and end the topic.”

The host then asked whether simplicity is missing in Indian shows, to which Hiten replied, “It is possible, as an artist I can say ki kahaaniyaan relate karti hain unki zyada, isiliye acha lagta hai thoda(Their stories connect more, which is why they feel a little better).”
