Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, faced two alarming security breaches on consecutive days, raising serious concerns about the effectiveness of his current security measures.
Incident 1: The Uninvited ‘Guest’
In the early hours of May 21, 36-year-old model Isha Chabria attempted to enter Khan’s residence around 3 a.m. Claiming she had been invited by the actor after a meeting at a party six months prior, Chabria alleged that a family member had opened the door for her—a claim firmly denied by Khan’s family. Building staff promptly alerted the police, leading to her detention. Authorities are currently investigating her background and statements.
Incident 2: The Persistent ‘Fan’
Just a day earlier, on May 20, a 23-year-old man from Chhattisgarh, identified as Jitendra Kumar Singh, was apprehended after attempting to unlawfully enter the premises around 9:45 a.m., claiming he wanted to meet the actor. When denied access by security personnel, Singh reacted aggressively, smashing his phone on the ground. He was detained by Mumbai Police, and investigations revealed discrepancies in the address he provided, with local authorities stating that no such location exists.
Security Measures Under Scrutiny
These incidents have intensified concerns over Khan’s safety, especially considering he is already under Y+ category security due to previous threats, including a firing incident outside his residence in April 2024. Despite enhanced security measures, including the installation of bulletproof glass and high-resolution CCTV cameras, the recent breaches highlight potential vulnerabilities.
Ongoing Investigations
Both individuals are currently in police custody, facing charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Authorities are delving deeper into their motives and backgrounds to assess any potential threats. Khan’s family maintains that no outsiders were invited and are cooperating fully with law enforcement.
