According to reports, the cast and crew are currently stationed in Mumbai, where a romantic track featuring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan is being filmed at a specially designed set in Goregaon’s Royal Palms.
The song reportedly showcases the journey of Akshay and Vidya’s characters as a married couple and traces how they fell in love. Production designer Mayur Sharma has created a detailed house set for the sequence, while choreographer Vijay Ganguly has been overseeing the song shoot.
A portion of the track has already been filmed over the last few days, with the remaining sections expected to be completed during the unit’s upcoming schedule in Dehradun.
Raashii Khanna Plays Akshay Kumar’s Ex-Girlfriend
While the romantic song focuses on Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan’s married life, the film’s story takes a dramatic turn with the entry of Raashii Khanna’s character.
Reports suggest that Raashii will portray Akshay’s former girlfriend in the film. The story follows a happily married man whose life becomes increasingly complicated when his ex-girlfriend re-enters the picture. Her return reportedly comes with a request for help, placing Akshay’s character in an awkward situation between his suspicious wife and his past relationship.
This setup forms the core of the romantic comedy and is expected to deliver the mix of humour, confusion and relationship drama that Anees Bazmee is known for.
Kerala Schedule Wrapped Up Earlier
The film recently completed a major shooting schedule in Kerala during May. With the Mumbai song shoot now underway and the Dehradun schedule lined up next, production is moving steadily toward completion.
Although the title of the project has not yet been announced, the film has already generated curiosity due to the reunion of Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan, along with Raashii Khanna’s pivotal role in the story.
