Sony Pictures Networks India has officially announced Celebrity MasterChef Tamil, bringing the globally popular culinary reality format to Tamil audiences. The show will be headlined by Samantha Ruth Prabhu and will premiere soon on Sony VIZHA and Sony LIV.
The upcoming series will bring together familiar faces from Tamil entertainment, taking them away from the world of film and television and placing them behind the kitchen counter. Contestants will face challenging cooking tasks, unexpected twists, and the pressure of creating dishes that impress both the judges and the audience.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu expressed her excitement about being associated with the new show and said the format appealed to her because it is unlike anything she has done before.

Samantha also kept the contestant lineup under wraps, teasing that she could not reveal who would be participating because the mystery is part of the fun.
